Located in north-eastern Italy, Veneto extends from the Dolomites to the Adriatic Sea, crossing a wide hilly strip and a plain crossed by rivers, canals, and the Po delta. Typical of the Venetian coast is the lagoon landscape - and right on the lagoon rises a city unique in the world, Venice.
