Puglia is a southern region that forms the "heel" of the Italian boot and has the longest coastline in Italy. It is famous for its hill villages with their characteristic white plaster walls, for its ancient flavor, and for its hundreds of kilometers of Mediterranean coast.

Rome FCO is the closest international airport. It is 450km from Bari, the main city Bari has its own airport which serves the area.
