Time to get ready for next year!
September just arrived and we are projecting our energies to next year’s big event: the Jubilee of 2025. Starting from December, we will be hosting pilgrims and tourists from all over the world.
An event that happens every 25 years is set to be grandiose: a celebration of faith in its most authentic expression, a transformation journey symbolized by pilgrimage, with hope as its core.
“May the grace of the Jubilee
reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope,
a yearning for the treasures of heaven.”
– from “The Jubilee Prayer“
Hope is the theme of this year’s Jubilee and so the liturgies conducted in Piazza San Pietro will explore the present situation of catholicism through the lens of the faithfuls’ hoping hearts.
Everything will start on December 24th when Pope Francis will open the Holy Door of Saint Peter that has been walled since the last holy year. A tradition that has been happening since 1500.

A challenge
A challenge for tourist workers, hotels and agencies, and for the city itself, to host so many people throughout the whole city. This past year has been a year of preparation, with many construction works in the streets of the center area and in some of the metro stations.
We are ready to plan your visit!
